Khoo Boon Hui
KHOO Boon Hui was the Singapore Police Commissioner from 1997 to 2010 and INTERPOL President from 2008 to 2012.
Following his retirement from the Ministry of Home Affairs as its Senior Deputy Secretary in 2015, he is currently a Senior Fellow of Singapore’s Civil Service College. He is also an advisor of the Home Team Academy, a Justice of Peace and an Honorary Fellow of St John’s College, Oxford.
He holds board and advisory positions in Financial Services, Consultancy, Security and Philanthropy. He serves on the Certis CISCO Board, National Cybersecurity R&D Programme International, Cellebrite, Palo Alto Networks (APAC), Ensign Infosecurity, TRM Labs (APAC), Quantexa, Altana AI, Resaro, SMX, Bitsight, InfoCepts, NTT Data Singapore, PIAdvisory, National University of Singapore Office of Risk and Management, Neurowyzr, YMCA of Singapore and Deloitte (SEA) Advisory Panels. He is a member of the Aspen Global Cybersecurity Group, the Singapore Symphony Orchestra Council and Board of Visiting Justices for the Prisons.
He had previously served as a board director of the Global Cyber Alliance (US) (2021 to 2024), CyberPeace Institute (Switzerland) (2019 to 2021), Singapore National Eye Centre (2012 to 2022), SingHealth (2010 to 2022), Ministry of Health Holdings (2016 to 2021), Casino Regulatory Authority (2014 to 2020), ST Engineering (2010 to 2019), Temasek Foundation International (2012 to 2021), Ensign Infosecurity (2018 to 2023), Deputy Chairman Singapore Quality Award (2009 to 2020) and as an advisor to Standard Chartered Bank (UK) (2015 to 2023), International Centre for Sports Security (Qatar) (2011 to 2016), Arqit Quantum (UK) (2022 to 2024), Moody’s Analytics (Singapore) (2022 to 2024) and Elsight (Australia) (2018 to 2024). He was also Chairman of the Singapore Golf Association (2016 to 2022) and served on the Global Commission on the Stability of Cyberspace (Netherlands) (2017 to 2021).
In recognition of his distinguished contributions to public service and public safety, Mr. Khoo has received high national honours from Singapore, Australia, Brunei, France, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Vatican. He was educated at Oxford, Harvard, and Wharton.
